Won't happen again for another two years, two months, and two days. Then two years, two months and two days after that.

But 7-9-11 won't happen again for another 100 years, let's celebrate!

I shall celebrate by watching Metalocalypse. Then I will compose an anthem to commemorate this significant day.

In actuality, I will probably do neither of those, but meh, happy odd day.

The next time this happens, no one will be celebrating.

Exactly. At the time the OP was posted, the date was 10-07-11 here. That's because we're several hours in front of the US and also because we have a logical numerical date system.

Meh. I don't mind month-day-year or day-month-year, but what I do mind is that we use both here. Super frustrating.

It's terribly frustrating when you're in the shipping business and 90% of your customers are overseas. The gov't forms we have to fill out must be in mm/dd/yy format, but when we receive the info for these forms we never know if it's in that or if it's dd/mm/yy. Because of this I've resorted to always writing the date as 10 July 2011. I never use the numerical for the month if not absolutely required.

Hahaha. Well if you want to ship somewhere a little more convenient you could ship me a six pack out here in California.
