That mm/dd/yyyy is difficult for me.

Why do you guys do it like that anyway?


(I assume because you say "January the 2nd" instead of "2 January". ??)

I assume so too.

We use SAP at work, and being that the software is German in origin, we've got European dates which caused much confusion in the beginning of my career. Finally getting a handle on it, but it still makes less sense to me.

I've always thought that palindromic numbers should get their own special word, like dyscalculia for numerical dyslexia.

There are certain times where we use the "2 January" type. Mainly in MLA format when turning in papers for school.

Same reason they use Fahrenheit instead of Celsius and Miles instead of Kilometers.
