Hardest NES games EVER!!!

IMO the hardest game on the NES was by far BATTLETOADS.
OMFG that thing was insane!!!!!

While I stand by my belief that The Adventures of Dino RIki is the hardest game for NES, Battletoads has been put as the #1 spot numerous times for good reason. That said, I HAVE beaten Battketoads, but not Dino-Riki. The thing about battletoads was that the truly insane parts were all about timing, and once you did them a hundred or so times, you had them down. Dino-Riki, on the other hand is a cluster-****.

I haven't played NES in probably 15 years, but I seem to remember the Castlevania games and the original Mega Man being pretty tough.

Battletoads was an insane game. Mike Tyson`s knockout wasn`t too hard.

It's Mike Tyson's PUNCHOUT!! by the way, not knockout.

(After Mike went to prison it was just called PUNCHOUT!!! & the last fighter was called Mr Dream , wich was basically the same caracter as Tyson but with white skin)

I always had trouble with Mario 3 and this one game where the kid had a skateboard, a side scroller. Nemo in Dreamland was hard too.

Easily one of my fave games of all time. Furthest I've gotten was the sewers (after the plane level I think).

HARDEST GAME BY FAR WAS....
1)Top Gun
at the end of the pointless Level 1 there was a refueling plane. 1 out of 100 times you can actually refuel..the other 99 crash, burn and start over.

2) Friday the 13th. the game is impossible to play..you basically circle around a lake too afraid to actually enter building so you just ran for 5 min til Jason murked your @$$.

3) OG Mega Man... the first game that ever gave my thumb blisters

4)ninja Gaiden- the whole series was just stupid hard.

5)Wizards and Warriors... how many times did YOU bounce all the way up the trees to miss one ledge and plumet to your death..pure hate.
