I saw Harold and Kumar go to White Castle on comedy central, way better than I thought it was going to be. I mean, it's totally stupid, but it's well done totally stupid, which I enjoy. I'm going to have to see Harold and Kumar escape from guantanamo bay, I'm sure I'll dig it.
Seems familiar, two "ethnic guys" (though, different ethnicities), very very much of the stoner comedy genre, and they get into zany adventures: I'd call them this generations Cheech and Chong. I could see them cranking out a few more movies out of this trend.
Anyone else a fan?

I think it's actually a really good film, one of my favourites in fact. Havn't seen the new one yet though. |

It's just refreshing. You take the recent film about MIT kids who try to beat blackjack "21." It's a true story and in real life all those kids were Asian, which is partly how they got caught, but I guess Hollywood figured that white America couldn't relate to people with a different ethnic background so they cast a bunch of white actors. |
