Harold and Kumar

I saw Harold and Kumar go to White Castle on comedy central, way better than I thought it was going to be. I mean, it's totally stupid, but it's well done totally stupid, which I enjoy. I'm going to have to see Harold and Kumar escape from guantanamo bay, I'm sure I'll dig it.

Seems familiar, two "ethnic guys" (though, different ethnicities), very very much of the stoner comedy genre, and they get into zany adventures: I'd call them this generations Cheech and Chong. I could see them cranking out a few more movies out of this trend.

Anyone else a fan?

The film is called Harold and Kumar Get the Munchies over here, because we don't have White Castle.

I think it's actually a really good film, one of my favourites in fact. Havn't seen the new one yet though.

Some bits in bad taste such a classic.

I live in Australia and we dont have White Castle...but seriously, those burgers looked gross if they are an accurate representation.

The representation is accurate. They're gross. I regret eating five of them last night.

I'm a fan. Actually, me and my sons are all fans.

And - the burgers are works of art. There is
no better eating on the planet.

I love how NPH portrays himself in the film, ironic because he's gay IRL

Perhaps the best stoner movie of all time. I haven't seen Escape from Guantanamo though, I'll have to check that out sometime.

I really like how an Asian guy and an Indian guy are the stars of a movie that's not about karate or... uh... well, Indian guys pretty much never star in American movies, do they?

It's just refreshing. You take the recent film about MIT kids who try to beat blackjack "21." It's a true story and in real life all those kids were Asian, which is partly how they got caught, but I guess Hollywood figured that white America couldn't relate to people with a different ethnic background so they cast a bunch of white actors.

I found them to be incredibly boring. I felt it was stupid comedy done stupidly, not intelligently. Meh.

I sold Harold a harmonica once. Really.
