has anyone else had a big problem with verizon? the phone i have now is verizon, and i've never had a problem with them until this one. it's about two years old, but it's been doing this since day one.
my phone never has service anywhere unless i'm in a big city, and even then, it only has service in select places. i never have service up in my room, so today i took my mom's phone (also verizon) up with me to see if she did. while my phone had no service she had three bars. mine got one bar of EV (whatever that means..) at the most. also, most of the time when people call me it goes straight to voice mail, even when i have service, and texts take a long time to reach me. they also sometimes refuse to send, even with five bars.
i took my phone up to the closest verizon store, and they said i was missing a few updates, but once i got it back, nothing was changed.
could it be a problem with the phone, or is verizon's service that choppy?
