We took a computer science course in high school that was online, even though we were all in the classroom to do it. There was a built-in e-mail system to communicate between each other/the teacher. He sent an e-mail to someone saying some very naughty/disparaging things about a girl in the class... little did he realize the system was set up to e-mail *everyone* when a message was sent out.
Yeah, that ended up well.   |

At work we have a pretty loose rule. There's really not supposed to be any personal use, but when we hit a slow part of the day just about everybody can be found on their own little spot on the web. However, if you're not doing your job and you get caught surfing the web you can get written up. I knew someone who got fired for playing solitaire. I'm pretty sure it was mostly because he was just a douche, though.
At home, I'm the king of my castle.

It ended up with me working 6 years in IT from 1997..
Now that was a real mess wasn't it ..
