All of ours have a second video camera on a pole nearby to make sure no one damages them. Bastards.

I always think its a shame how people view stuff like this. Its ultimatly for a good thing. You get punished for breaking the law and the money goes (or should do) towards road maintanence etc. So not only do you get a better road to drive on, its safer too. Dunno about you but thats a win win to me.

edit: Plus the pricks who speed are discouraged from doing it again. (well when there is a camera around)

I'd suggest damaging the second one as well, but I have a feeling that would just spawn something ridiculous.

I have no issue with people who spped being punished for their stupidity. What I ahte is the use of devices like this being made into revenue generators for minor discretionary errors on the part of the majority of drivers and incidents.

I could relate some incidents (not by myself of course) but would rather not online.
