I heard about this on the radio, while driving home from work last night. I laughed but at the same time I felt kinda sad that I live in a world with people like that.

What's particularly amusing is that the teller used the marker on the bill anyways, even though it was obviously fake.

Officers say Smith also purchased several cartons of cigarettes with a stolen check over the weekend.
