Nope, I've never genuinely been surprised by anything.

No. I've always somehow managed to accidentally foil all of mine.

Nope. People don't care enough to put forth the effort.

It's refreshing to see how many people in your life care enough to celebrate your birthday.

Then again, it's depressing to know nobody cares!

Oh God.....I'm sooo lonely!

Yep. I had a surprise pajama party for my 19th, and a random surprise un-birthday party a couple weeks ago.

Yep but the surprise was ruined by a friend who hates surprises and he thought that he should give me the heads up in case I hated them too.

Nope....never had a surprise party thrown for me. But I once had a surprise belly dance given to me by my then-girlfreind at a gig.
At the gig after the first set this chick comes up to me and says that for my birthday my girlfriend has bought me a belly dance and that I need to get a chair and put it in the middle of the dance floor and sit in it. She heads to the Ladies room and comes out dressed in a traditional belly-dance outfit and clears the dance floor back so that she has pretty much the whole floor. Then she starts dancing and it's almost like a combination belly dance/lap dance for about 20 minutes. It was pretty awesome and the crowd was really into it I gotta tell ya. She was pretty hot looking and really knew how to belly dance. One of the best birthday's I've had, no doubt. The funny part was it was a Thursday night gig and my girlfriend wasn't even there for it as she had to get up early in the morning to go to work. )-(

Yep. I was moving out to another town, and my buddies arranged one for me. It was pretty touching. And I was surprised, for the record.

yup

I was going through a rough patch on my 17th birthday (dad not in the best of health) and feeling pretty blue.

amazingly, two separate groups of my friends set up two completely separate surprise parties, one of them on friday night and one of them on saturday night.

needless to say, I was pretty surprised.

really glad to have friends like that though, I try and make sure they all know how much gestures like that mean to me =]
