| Screw you, Dime was and is my hero. When he was murdered the whole musical community suffered, especially the metal community. There is nothing wrong with being emotional over such a loss. I even met the man in person once, and hes was the coolest human being on earth. |

I don't remember when princess di died and if it was in my life time i was to young to know about it. But even if its someone famous you shouldn't really cry if you never knew them. There are plenty of people that you don't know that die every minute but you don't see them on t.v. and they aren't famous and you don't cry over them?

even worse for me is chuck schuldiner. it never had to happen, it was just such a waste... chuck was even more to extreme metal fans than dimebag was to the rest of the metal community. two of the most tragic deaths in music IMO.

If they lived a good life, celebrate it.
Now if something happened to one of my kids on the other hand, I will posting from a looney ward. |

However I remember when I heard that Syd Barrett passed away, I was just really depressed and down. Which is weird because not only was it someone I never met, but it was someone no one really heard much about.
