Shakespeare.

Well...I didn't know him, obviously, but he is the only guy I can think of.

edit: This is what I've always heard but according to some sources his birthdate is unknown.

Do stillborns count? If so, then yes, but not very well.

No, I do not.

I wonder what the odds are of that actually happening.

I was born on my grandfather's birthday, but he died before I was born.

I knew someone who died on my birthday, and we had same name.

what was weird was how I found out about it. One day I was talking with a former coworker of mine and somehow we got on some subject of how I knew this guy with my same name when I was in elementary school - but that he wasn't called by that name, but by his nickname, JoJo. she put it together and realized it was the same guy who used to hang around some friends of hers in a rap group and they had done a song about him after he had passed (was tragically shot - was in the wrong place at the wrong time).

So she shares the song with me, and in it, they say that he died on my birthday (they reference the date in the song). Was a trip, but also was hard to find out he died this way.

In another totally unrelated (and irrelevant) incident, my old guitarist was born the day after Hendrix died.

My mother died two days before her birthday, and I remember the funeral director telling that people dying on or very near their birthdays is actually quite common. If you think either a week before or after the birthday, you will find many died around that time.
