having an EMG test on Thursday...

I've had some issues with my hands and wrists over the past couple years, so I've been seeing a hand doctor/specialist. She successfully treated me about a year and half ago for tendinitis/tenosynovitis in each of my wrists (with cortisone injections), but more recently I've developed some numbness and weakness in part of my left hand and fingers. She thinks the culprit might be cubital tunnel or a pinched-nerve (something of that sort), so I'm having an EMG done on my left arm this Thursday.

Has anyone had this test performed on them? Does it hurt? I'm a little nervous about it...

I had it done once. It's no fun, but it's more annoying than painful. Good luck!

Is that where they stick the needles in your hands and arms? If so I've had it ,, herniated disc in my neck last year, all better now, had surgery and lost some feeling on my finger tip but it's not bad,, the test is no big deal , it's a little annoying but not bad at all ,, good luck

Being treated for 'trigger-finger'. My left hand pinky gets stuck & then springs out suddenly.

Some prescription drugs, some Capsazian P, a few hours less playing over a few days & it's taking care of itself.

Gravity, beating us all down.
