Headphone junkies help me out!

Can someone who has a lot of experience with different headphones help me out, that is music headphones for listening to music not for to plug into an amp and play bass. I have used skullcandy earbuds now for a while because I heard they were awesome so I got some but I was at bestbuy the other day and I was just dinkin around with some headphones and I put a few pairs on that were so great they were playing rap which I am not fond of but it sounded so great I had my head bobbin'. I want to get actual headphones not earbuds either. Headphones seem to sound better in the higher end from my experience, and having buds in for a long time starts to irritate your ears. Anyways, down to my main point; what is a good pair of headphones that
1: FIT COMFORTABLY this is a big deal to me I want them to not bother me at all
2: DURABLE - this isnt such a huge deal but I want them to be build with good materials not cheapass plastic that will break the first time I drop it off of my computer desk onto a hard surface
3: ofcourse SOUND - I want something that has a lot of bass and a lot of highs and everything inbetween to sound great. theres nothing like a little green and then just chillin listening to music, but I want it to be through amazing headphones.

Sorry I tend to ramble on A LOT. And my budget is no more than $200 if someone can please give me a pair that matches my requests pretty close for around $200. thanks, and sorry again for my rambling. I have trouble organizing all of my thoughts.

I love my Sennheiser HD280 Pro cans:

Very comfortable. They include a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter for plugging into your receiver or amp as well as your mp3 player. Sound range is spectacular.

Dr. Dre beats are amazing, and the skull candy headphones are good. I really like my sure e2c which are in-ear headphones, and since they are foam ear inserts, they are very comfortable, which giving a very good sound quality (lacking a little bit in the bass region, but if you go up one more level, good bass)

I have the Skullcandy SK Pro headphones, and they sound really nice. As for durability, they feel solid. I've been using them for over a year now and they still work fine, and I don't baby them. They also come with a lifetime warranty that covers you for everything - not just manufacturing faults, but accidental (or deliberate) breakage as well.

I tried some of those out in a shop and they sounded really mid-scooped to me. Loads of bass and treble, but nothing in between. I didn't like it.

See, I don't hear that great of things about Skullcandy.... I enjoy their buds but like I said I have heard not much good except that they look cool for their headphones, I also hear they are quite uncomfortable after long periods of time and I listen to music for hours at a time almost every day. I think I'm gonna try the Sennheiser ones cuz they are $100 and plenty of reviews say they are great. But I do like the idea of a lifetime warranty with SC's.... I dunno I guess we will see, I just don't want to order a pair and not like them.

Honestly, you should go to head-fi.org - they know what they're talking about there when it comes to headphones. My own recommendation, if you're looking for closed headphones, the Audio Technica M50 is a great set, at about 109USD. If you're looking for open, than the Sennheiser HD555s are pretty good for about the same price.

Not a fan of the HD280s. Incredibly tightly squeezing headband. And my head isn't particularly big either. Skullcandy and Dr Dre, also a no-no. No balance, and far too overpriced. You could get the Koss KC75 for about 15 bucks and it'd beat both of those in almost every way.
