"Almost 24,000 cribs sold in Canada are being recalled because of concerns babies may suffocate, suffer a strangulation, become trapped or fall from them.
Five companies are included in Thursday's Health Canada recall. All of the cribs have drop-sides that become detached because of hardware defects, Health Canada said in multiple advisories.
Health Canada has received three reports of injuries related to the cribs.
The affected companies are
Dorel Distribution Canada,
LaJobi Inc.,
Delta Enterprise Corp.,
Simmons Juvenile Products and
Million Dollar Baby.

The products were sold in Canada between 2005-2010.
The Canadian recall is part of a larger recall of cribs manufactured by the same companies in the United States..."
