Heath Ledger just won Best Performance by an Actor In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.

I think he definitely deserves it!

Thoughts?

Was there any doubt that he wasn't going to win? That role was pure character, no Heath present. He should have won a few times in the past as well. Go watch some of his early movies, such as "10 Things I Hate About You" and "A Knights Tail". He was fantastic in those movies. In "Lords of Dogtown", it took me almost the whole movie to figure out who he was in it, I knew he was in it, but I just couldn't figure out who. That was how good he was. It was a very sad day when he died.

I just finally saw Dark Knight the other day. His performance was pure brilliance...kept me glued to the tv. I could have actually done without any of the action and effects...just give me more Joker.

It's the Golden Globes. It's like the Arby's of the award show world.

I've heard of Arby's as the butt of quite a few food-related jokes.

Heath Ledger is dead right?

How do you win and accept an award if you're dead?

He won the award posthumously, just like combat veterans can win awards posthumously. No, I'm not comparing the two except to state that dead people can win awards.

It was accepted in his honor by the producer.

When I was watching the Dark Knight,I was so caught in the Joker that I was thinking "Who's that Batman fellow again?". It was great.

They dig up your body and put your award in with you in the casket. Simple.

Even if he didn't die and the movie wasn't hyped as much, he still deserved it. His performance was unreal.
