Yeah I thought it was awesome. I started seeing the ads for number II, but hadn't seen the first yet. So I went and rented that the other night, and saw II last night. It was a lot of fun

Visually, I thought it was amazing. The creatures and scenes are breathtaking.

That said, the story feels extremely rushed, and doesn't flow well at all. The whole movie jumps from plot point to plot point, without doing justice to any of it. Which is too bad, because the story could have been really interesting, had it been told well.

I think I'll probably give this one a chance. I wasn't really crazy about the first Hellboy, but the second looks better, and after seeing Pan's Labyrinth, del Toro definitely has proved himself to me.
