Everytime people find out i play bass, 3/5 people will say " Err, bass players are just people who can't handle 6 strings"
I have tried "ever heard of a 6,7, 12 string bass" blah blah, but i REALLY need a good comeback to put those idiots in their place!
Any suggestions? |

I usually just reply with "I play bass because I dig the sound. you dig?"

Usually playing their part on your bass while they can't play your part on either instrument shuts them off. |
