Help me pick a book to do my book report on

Sign in to disble this ad
So I need help picking a novel to do a book report on (which is part of my grade for my final). The requirements are that it has to be a novel from a 21st century American novelist.......................................... .......I prefer something short...............Any responses are appreciated.

If you're a fan of Heavy Metal I would look at "The Headbanging History of Heavy Metal" by Ian Christe. It's a really great book, and I learned tons from it. Not sure if it's appropriate for a junior though.

Yeah, that sounds good and all, but it sort of has to be a novel.

Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx.

I'm not sure if thats appropriate for your grade level, but it was an awesome book. Not to mention written by a bassist.

Was fight club written since 2000? I am running through all my favorite books and none of them are from the 21st century.

Check out Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. A bit long, but awesome read.

Unfortunately I saw the movie before I had a chance to read the book. That kind of kills the imagination. Choke is an awesome book. I liked Invisible Monsters too.

OH, I forgot about this book. FANTASTIC! I don't think it is a long book, only around 300 pages, and it is a fast read. I read it in an afternoon.

For some reason I couldn't get through this book. I'm not sure why. It's been sitting on the crapper for months now. I've read four or five books since I picked it up. Many people like it.

I had planned on writing a book. If I finish before your report is due, you can have an advanced copy.
