Ok.........Core, Core duo, Core i7, Core i6, etc??? um......*** just happened to "this is power, X amount of gigs of processing, oh, and here's some ram, how about a terra......yea, you'll be good to go."
Every time I think about buying a new computer, I get to have the foresight that by the time I get it set up, there will be something new that I can not use it for, thus giving me another opportunity to throw more cash in the hole.
These days (and I mean looking with foresight into the next 6-8 months) I'm going to be investigating the whole laptop industry, as I've decided I have no personal space of my own. I wanna be able to play a bunch of modern games (not limited to pre-2003 gaming), as well as run a bunch of CPU hungry computer music programs (As I plan to keep that up) steadily.
What is Satisfactory, Good, and "Above average" these days?
I'm looking at a budget of 800-1000, but obviously I'd be cool with cheaper
