For a report in my religion class at school I have to research the use of self mortification (anywhere from light fasting to self mutilation to living in solutide) in all religions. However, I seem to have trouble finding any specific rituals outside of Christianity.
Would anyone be able to give me a good website or list off a couple that I may look more into.
Please note that this is not for discussion on the ethics/values of certain religions. Please pm me if you would not like to openly post on this subject or lock/delete this thread if it is deemed as banned content.
