Seriously. I've got a problem. Thats the first stage, right?
Basically I can give it up, but I always end up back after a little while. 6 months is the longest, and latest time away. In the past its been anywhere from a week to maybe a month. Even the annoyance of the really long install process didn't turn me away this time, and I literally sat there till it finished.
Its really bad, and I get headaches if I stare at a computer monitor for too long, worse if its 3d graphix im starin' at. Xtra strength Tylonol has become my friend.
In the past I've basically replaced it with bass playing, but even that isn't doin' it this time. |

Otherwise, get a girlfriend. You won't have nearly the time or money for WoW like you used to, and you probably won't want to play it nearly as much.

I could look at waveforms in audacity all day and only get a minor pain....
Perhaps I should just get rid of it....
1) Take credit card off account, thereby suspending it
2) Change PW (and other security stuff) to something random (faceroll the KB?)
3) ????
4) Profit |

I think you'd appreciate the comic. I'd post it here, but it's got naughty language in it. |

There is nothing that separates me from my bass, and that is the way it has got to be for you. This is not a WOW problem but a lack of interest in bass. Find it buddy. Find it.

I gave everything away and now am better. Good luck, I suggest you do pretty much everything suggested here, give away, break disk, girlfriend. Go for it! Also you could look for something you really want to buy, like a new pedal or something and calculate that it takes x months not on wow to have a new pedal completely budgeted for! Just a thought, how much does it cost a month?

Its better this way. I started when the game started. I have quit playing, am now engaged, playing with a band and taking a roll in my kids life. not to mention I go places and have also lost weight.

Nothing wrong with spending time online if you enjoy it (Lord knows I spend enough time on TB) but once it starts interfering with real relationships (or creating new relationships) it's gone way too far. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
