I think I'm losing it. Or lost it already.
I had not started my pickup for several days, just because I haven't needed it - been using my wife's car. The weather has been nasty for days, cold, snowy, icy, so I thought I had better start my truck just to warm it up, keep the battery charged, etc. I remember thinking on my way back into the house, don't forget to come back out here to turn off the motor in about 15 minutes. So 2 1/2 hours later I remember.
But that's not all.
Over eleven years ago, I got a nice Seiko wristwatch as a gift. I wore it a little, then took it off for a few days. It stopped running, so I thought, I'll have to get a new battery for it, and stuck it in my sock drawer. Fast forward 11 years. Yesterday, I decided I was finally going to get that nice watch running and took it with me to Walmart, where they install watch batteries at the jewelry counter. The lady took the back off and whaddaya know, its a self-winding mechanical watch, requires no batteries. I'm wearing it now. Keeps excellent time and its still in like new condition.
