You may remember Jai the Pit Bull with his kitten from several years back:

He's at it again!
New batch of kittens at our house (we're fostering 3 brothers).

I've always been more of a cat person, but I do love pitbulls. One of my best friends in grad school had one with the coolest personality...Hilarious and gentle...Too bad they get a bad rap from time to time.

So your pit and kitty get along just fine?

We've had both in the past with mixed results. Some of our dogs have liked our mouse-catchers, and some have despised them.

I may very well get a new wuppy or kitty again after seeing all of these threads on them.

Nice dog.

I had a husky and a cat. The husky tolerated the cat indoors just fine. The backyard belonged to the dog, though. Anything furry that came into his yard was fair game. The cat learned this and kept to the house or the front yard.

We have 3 dogs - a pomerainian, the pit, and a mastiff.
All love the kitties - but Jai is just super special with them and they bond with him, like this.
We have to supervise the mastiff - if she snorts too strongly she might inhale one of them.

In that newest picture, Jai looks just like my late cousin, a Staffordshire bull terrier who my uncle and godmother had for 16 years. He was such a sweet dog and loved everyone till the end. I've had a new cousin now since 2 years ago, an energetic, dark brindle Staffy.

This is true. And on a side note, I love to ride 950cc Kawasaki crotch rockets because they are the safest possible transportation you can buy

Seriously I love that picture, though. And I'm sure some pit bulls are affectionate...but not here in Michael Vick country. They are like a status symbol here.

I don't doubt that for a second. But it's hardly the dogs fault, any dog will be messed up if it's main purpose is to be a status symbol. And if that dog is a powerful breed, nasty things will inevitably happen. Today pitbull is the breed of choice for these retards, in the past it has been rottweilers and german shepherds (at least in Europe) and the results have always been the same.

Anyhow, I love mine. And every time I look at the dog I get even more love in return.

Another day, another photo. The kittens were getting tired. I walked into the living room to find they'd staked out their afternoon nap site.

They're a really lovable bunch.
