Is Hetero physical Attraction Similar to Gay Attraction?

Sign in to disble this ad
By this I wonder if an attractive individual projects that to both elements of sexual identification - & what are they?
I would want to limit this question to simple sexual/physical attraction but i realize that many non-superficial things COULD be attractive. Tone or modulation of voice, "type" of hair, sense of humor, or intellect.
Does ANYONE first get attracted to another individual through NON-physical agenda?

I'm kinda confused as to what you're asking. Are you asking if it's possible for someone to find another individual attractive without having physically seen them first?

Often times yes, though it varies from person to person, depending on what physical traits they are attracted to.

Im sure some people become attracted to another only after getting to know them, but its most likely that there will be physical attraction first. IMO.

I gathered that he is asking if what is deemed, say, a physically attractive man (by some standard) is appealing to a woman in the same way that man would be appealing to a gay man.

Conversely, and simply... do lesbians think the same chicks are hot that we men do.

My answer - Most likely, though probably not always.

That makes a lot more sense

I'd really have to think about this more before I could answer, but for now I'll leave it at 'it depends'.

if i remember correctly back to my psychology class last year. then physical attraction amongst hetero sexual couples is partially based on either person having desirable physical traits that could be passed on to the next generation. be it a specific hair color, facial structure, body type, eye shape/color. . .etc.

in translation: "id hit that" also means those traits would be favorable to have in the future generation.

on a side having a sense of humor and generally not being insane is also a favorable trait to pass on.

Is Hetero physical Attraction Similar to Gay Attraction? I assume it is, but I really wouldn't know, since I'm not gay.

I would say Yes, since my bisexual rhythm guitarist and I are frequently ogling the same girls. At the very least, we both have very good taste and VERY poor luck :/ .

Peace,
Greg

As a straight guy I can tell you that pretty much all of the above can be attractive in a female.

Is it bad that I once started finding a girl attractive AFTER I saw what her mom looked like?
