Sign in to disble this ad
When I turn 21, I plan on using my 2nd amendment and going ahead and getting a concealed handgun license. Obviously I don't have any felonies, drug charges, and I have no mental issues that I know of.
I personally am looking around for a .40 S&W caliber from either Glock, Smith and Wesson, or Ruger.
I am an oddly skinny guy, so I would eventually like to get something that has a decent mass for less recoil, but small enough to easily conceal.
Here's a few that I was looking at: http://www.ivanhoeoutlet.com/shop/in...=5&prevstart=0 http://www.ivanhoeoutlet.com/shop/in...=5&prevstart=0
If you guys have had any experience with certain handguns, please share what your favorites are!

Remember to use your head before you pull the trigger.

Seriously now, out of the brands you mentioned I would recommend a Glock 23. |

The Grips are on the short side and not comfortable to hold, especially for repeated shooting. Pierce Grips makes what they call a +1 grip that fits on the magazines. They also extend the mag capacity. I owned the 36 and the +1 was a big help.
The Rugers are kinda under the radar in the world of Semi-Auto hi-power pistols. I have a friend who can afford anything and has several and loves them. Their other guns are great shooters, reliable, accurate, and usually good values. I just don't have a lot of experience with any of their semi auto pistols with the exception of the .22's which are great.

I know that the vast majority of kaBooms that are experienced in Glocks, the one chambered in .40 is usually the model involved.

Invest in a good trigger lock or lock box
