First, Belichick cheats during the regular season, then he walks off the field before the game's over. Class act!

LOVE IT!

Did you guys really think NY was going to run over Dallas and GB and not bring the Pats a game?

As if I didn't already dislike the Pats enough, they should probably have a talk with their players about dropping F-bombs on TV.

Then again, what else do you expect when the coach is classless enough to go stomping off the field like a beeotch before the game was even over?

Great sportsmanship....and I hope the Pats never win another game.

Congrats to the Giants.....well played, well deserved, and I definitely have a lot more respect for Eli now.

There's only one thing wrong with your statement. NY DID NOT run all over Dallas. Dallas gave NY cake and they ate it. That being said, well done Giants. You made the NFC proud!

This thread is the pinnacle of good sportsmanship.

But damn that was a great game! The only reason I wanted the Giants to lose was because my roomate in college was a Giants fan and whenever the Giants were playing he became the biggest horse's ass I've ever met.

They didn't "run over" Pack either, but you get the point.

Who cares, the Pats lost, and that's pretty much all that's important.

The only reason I wanted NE to win is because I know Wes Welker and he's a great guy. He's all of 5 foot nothing in the NFL, but he plays his ass off!

Technically, you're right, but actually, he did congradulate Coughlin, on the field, just did it prior to the actual last snap.

That said, I find Belichick to be a pretty classless individual, but still an incredibly good football coach. If he'd had any real class, he would have stayed on the field for the final snap & kneel down, and gone out and given Coughlin and the Giants a proper salute for outplaying and outcoaching his team.

But, it was at the same time a very poor gesture. As well as throwing the challenge flag because the guy couldn't sprint off the field fast enough. Sure, technically it was right and got them 4 more downs. But, the letter of the rules and the spirit of the rules differ....kind of classless there as well. Win it on the field.

Seriously, though, it's the Super Bowl. If he didn't throw the flag on that in the name of "good sportsmanship" he would not have a job at the end of the year, I guarantee it.

That's poor judgement on your behalf. Bellicheck wouldn't get fired at this point in his Pats career for not throwing the flag. When you say rediculous things like that it makes the credible things you say have less value.

Sorry, that's harsh. Seriously though, all in good fun?

Hey now...in all fairness to the New England Patriots...

They probably just didn't obtain any tapes of the NYG practices this past week.

Congrats New York!!!

As a Packers fan, it's good to see the Lombardi trophy go to one of the real original NFL teams.
