I was looking for a good analogy of a great actor in a bad movie for another thread and then got to thinking that it would make a good idea for a thread in and of itself. But then my search led me to this from the 1974 movie Zardoz:
I don't really know what else to say. |

Of course if your conciousness is not being chemically or botanically expanded at the time, it is a really bad movie. |

Sean Connery isn't even the best example I could find of a great actor in a terrible movie. The best I found was Anthony Hopkins in a little pile of crap called Bad Company.
Side note, outside of possibly Dogma has Chris Rock ever been in a decent movie? Why is that? |

He has his pirate boots, a Mexican bandolier, and an apple bag?
What kind of freaky arse movies is this?
I assume he was waiting tables just before this movie, too. It just crushes his image. Next time I see The Untouchables I am going to bust out laughing. |

And I read a synopsis of the movie and I still have zero clue what it is supposed to be about. However, this audio clip is pure awesome. |
