Hi, I'm Sean Connery

I was looking for a good analogy of a great actor in a bad movie for another thread and then got to thinking that it would make a good idea for a thread in and of itself. But then my search led me to this from the 1974 movie Zardoz:

I don't really know what else to say.

LOL! I don't know who did the costumes, but I have to wonder if they are still employed in Hollywood!

Zardoz is awesome! Of course you have to be very young (as I was) or on psychedelics (as most other Zardoz fans are) to appreciate it, but if you can get into that mindframe it's a great show.

Of course if your conciousness is not being chemically or botanically expanded at the time, it is a really bad movie.

The funny thing is that this was just on late night TV in our area Thursday night. I stumbled on it in all its wretched glory.

I think about all the money and time spent on researching drug use and in one fell swoop, you just proved without a doubt how bad drugs are.

I don't know about a fail pic, but it's certainly crying out for some photoshopping.

Sean Connery isn't even the best example I could find of a great actor in a terrible movie. The best I found was Anthony Hopkins in a little pile of crap called Bad Company.

Side note, outside of possibly Dogma has Chris Rock ever been in a decent movie? Why is that?

What the hell is he supposed to be?
He has his pirate boots, a Mexican bandolier, and an apple bag?

What kind of freaky arse movies is this?
I assume he was waiting tables just before this movie, too. It just crushes his image. Next time I see The Untouchables I am going to bust out laughing.

Sadly, this was a POST-James Bond role. And I read a synopsis of the movie and I still have zero clue what it is supposed to be about. However, this audio clip is pure awesome.

No way.
Judging by that pic, it had to have been awesome.
