Hilarious Scam Email

I just received this email in my inbox. It says it's from the IRS and it has an official looking header.

Internal Revenue Service
United States Department of the Treasury


Dear Applicant:

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that
you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $270,25
Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 2-6 business days in order to
process it.

Now it's obvious these people know NOTHING about our federal government. I mean 2-6 business DAYS to process a refund??? Hahahaha! If our government was that efficient, New Orleans would already be rebuilt and ready for another hurricane. Try pullling the wool over someone else's eyes. Then I'm eligible to receive a refund of $270,75. Is that $270 thousand or $270?

It would have been better if they had one of those countdown clocks on the e-mail saying you only had 45 seconds to submit your SSN or you forfeited your return.

A lot of countries (certainly French speaking countries and Europe) use a comma there where in English we'd use a full stop (or period if you like)
