Hit me with your best Chili recipes! I likes savory and spicy. I'd like to incorporate Bison meat as well. |
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f34/go...-chili-718343/ Never tried Bison but there was a discussion last year about Chili. |
I made a chili with beef shanks last year that was pretty freaking awesome! I cooked the beans in the broth from the beef shanks (Chili goes over the top of the beans). I also like to add a butt load of Serrano peppers and garlic. When you think you have enough peppers and garlic add more! |
When I had my chili urge, I googled some chili con carne recipes, found one that looked good and it was great to cook and to eat! If I find that recipe around I'll post it. |
http://www.mccormick.com/Products/Se...xes/Chili.aspx done people never wanna hear this, but the stuff is damn good. Of course I take some liberties. Last time I seared some steak in my own seasonings; cayenne, cilantro, cummin, black pepper, oregano, onion, and garlic, then added kidney beans and a can of onion and garlic diced tomatoes, heated it up to a simmer and dumped it in the crock pot for 4 hours. immense. |
