Any SoCal TB'ers been?

I saw it on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" last night. Looks like a great place to eat. The bacon burgers made me think of all you bacon loving guys who hang out here in OT.

Before my current band got our rehearsal space we were literally practicing in the building behind it. That's the parking lot we would park in to the left.

As for the food, somehow I've never eaten there. If'n I'd known it was good grub I would've come to practice hungrier.

I've eaten there after surfing on more than one occasion. It's good. Very good.

Did you get a bacon burger?

On the show, they explained how they make their bacon burgers.....he boils a few pounds of bacon in water, drains it, and then puts a handful on the grill and makes a bacon patty and grills that up to where it looks like some hashbrowns. That bacon patty then goes right on top of the all-beef patty.

Looked like a real treat for the bacon lovers.

I'm pretty sure I haven't had that. It's been awhile. I seem to remember eating breakfast there once, and then a regular bacon cheese burger there. I don't remember any kind of bacon ingenuity going on in my burger. Although, I do remember the bacon was roundish. Hmm, but I've seen that before. I don't know man. I think would have remembered that.

My brother used to live a block from there so I've been there a few times. Great stuff.

Yep, me too. I make it a point to check Food Network before I go anywhere now to see if Guy has been to any joints near where I am going.
