Been a while since I've seen a homebrew thread.

I have some oatmeal stout bottled and will be starting a Belgian wheat tomorrow! I'm thinking about a scotch ale for the next batch with an added 3lbs of amber dry malt.

I'm moving this weekend so I've purposely made sure I don't currently have gallons of brew sitting around. But when I get settled into my new place, I'm going to make a batch of Irish red ale followed by a raspberry mead.

I do have a few cases in bottles of my latest batch of Old Moneygrubber that are just now reaching peak drinkability after a year in the bottle. It's from a 5 gallon batch of barleywine made with 12 lbs of malted barley plus 7 lbs of extract syrup plus 6 lbs of red and black berries and mulberries.

It's a beautiful ruby red and is about 14% alcohol.

My dad and I have started playing with his Homebrew kit recently. We have made two batches so far, a pale ale and a canadian wheat (I think, there both gone now). They were kinda bland according to my dad (I'm not drinking any, just making it), so this time we added more malt and hops to the batch which we bottled last saturday. We are on our way soon to making totally from scratch though. We have the equipment, it's just convincing dad to make some. What should we do next?

I have three batches of wine currently aging in oak: a Soave (Italian white wine), Pinot Noir from New Zealand, and a blend of Carmenere-Malbec-Cabernet from Chile.

mmmmm.....beer. Once i get moved-i'd like to save up some money & learn how to do this right. Right now, i'm content with just buying some of the small batch beers from the Goose Island Brew Pubs.
