I don't think they ever showed Saul ordering the surveillance.

EDIT: The surveillance guy is Virgil who works with his brother Max. What I'm unclear on is are these guys CIA employees or are they "outside contractors"?

I need to pay better attention. The bespectacled dude is Virgil's brother, same one who hangs out in the ops room?

The whole "Brody Management" team is "off reservation" due to the Senator having to be left out of the loop and keep the CIA mystery mole blindsided. I forget where the existence of the mole was promulgated. He seems to be forgotten about in the narrative.

Not that I read every post, but this show is watched religiously. Excellent writing and twists, good acting, very suspenseful. Love it.

I caught a rerun of last week's last night. Carrie asked Virgil to look into Peter somewhere along the line according to the "previous highlights", either we all missed it or they cut it and pretended they never did.

I'm not sure. It was only a short exchange in passing so it could have easily been missed by all and sundry.

I got an early evening gig tomorrow which is probably going to cut into the show. I may be absent for the rest of the week until the rerun.

It was short in passing but it happened in episode four of the second season, the first appearance of Peter Quinn...four episodes ago.

It was bugging me so I went looking for it. Carrie was confused that he claimed to have been at Lanley for six years and she'd never heard of him. She asked Virgil to check him out.

One thing I'll never get used to about Showtime previous highlights is that they often go back further than the last episode.

We were outside and a chill wind came in, saving us from getting carried away. I missed the first 10 mins but the promo filled in the Carrie situation.

Pretty darned out there now init? Carrie out of the frying pan and about to jump right back in. Too wierd.

Looks like Saul is now dead man walking but Estes is gonna find out about Walden and shy off.

I missed the lead up to what Saul "knows" that has Peter and Estes in a flap. Could be Peter's cleanup mission, or the drone strike on Nazir, or??

He found out about the drone strike last season, hence him working on Nazir's case now. He "knows" who Peter is.

Yeah, having that ONE guy go back there? Whatever happened to the buddy system? Pissed me off. But besides that, I thought it was a good episode.

Okay, so the Abu Nazir loose end is tied up. I honestly can't see Brody evading Peter Quinn for an entire season...they should be able to wrap that up next week.

I suspect season three will focus on the conspiracy to assassinate a U.S. Congressman (i.e. Brody). I don't imagine that'll be as exciting as rogue terrorists but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I was thinking as the net was closing on Nazir that they were pulling a fast one and I was watching the final ever episode.

There is still the CIA mole on the loose. Maybe he can stir up another plot.

Ha, I also thought it was the last episode and thought I just had to assume that Peter whacked Brody...then I saw the promo for the season finale.

Maybe Saul, who was really friendly to Eileen, is the mole. That'd be good.
