Hoodie Weather!

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, it's winter in east Texas, so that means 3 months of hoodies, since it never gets cold enough for anything more.

Here's a hoodie thread in honor of this special time of year-post a pic of you sporting your favorite hooded sweatshirt.

And here was me thinking we were hard done by with a couple feet of snow and the temperature dropping to -20 deg C

(not bad considering the weather was fine before last weekend)

Why don't you just call it 'not-as-hot summer'?

I know how you feel about the cold weather in East Texas, I'm a couple of hours away, just across the border. I think it is going to get to the mid 30's tonight, Brr.

True, it's good as a lower layer.

Never liked hoodies...they bunch up behind my head. I have lots of sweatshirts, but they're all either crew necks or half-zips. No hoodies.

And in Central TX around Bryan/College Station, it definitely gets colder than hoodie weather!

Yeah, it doesn't get cold like Chicago here (the word "duh" comes to mind), but let's see you deal with the 9 month summers here.

That's one of the big reasons I now live in Colorado! 13 years was more than enough.

It's hoodie weather in Michigan too. If you are a Michigander and you wear a heavy coat, then you are a wimp!

I lived in Ft. Lauderdale most of my life, I know all about summers that last 9, 10, 11 months.

Having said that, I was in Houston for two days for work this past August. I've been in some very humid places, but that was like stepping inside a dog's mouth.

Having been to CO (mainly Denver) a couple dozen times, I have to say it has the best weather of any place I've ever been. The sun is out so often there, and the dry air makes both the cold and the heat seem less harsh. The only downside is that the mountains make the weather pretty unpredictable at times.

well, since you have decided not to heed your own advice, i shall be the first:

its a pic of me at a recent show/event thing taken and posted by some random person. it was free. someone left it at a frat party at my brothers place years ago. the original owner mustve smoked, because there are a couple burns on the inside, but its warm, and its black, like most of my clothing.
