Horchata is good stuff- so is Jamaica- the only thing that scares me are those circulating drink cooler things it's often served out of in taco shops- I always wonder if I'm going to end up with some sort of uncurable stomach malady.


Hasn't stopped me yet though.

MMM, I used to get this at Pollo Campero when I used to work near Herndon VA. I know it's not "the" real Horchata, but man it was good.

I developed the theory that if a taqueria looked like you could eat there without getting killed, then it probably wasn't any good.

I love that stuff. I'm always disappointed when we go a Mexican restaurant and they don't have it.

If you haven't had it, the easiest way to describe it is that it's like the milk after cinnamon toast crunch.
