Horrible weird dream last night...

Sign in to disble this ad
That I went to guitar center and was looking at buying new strings and was freaking out because I couldn't find any bass strings, and I finally found some D'Addario nickels and looked at the price and saw they were 91 dollars! I almost started cussing right there in the store. Then I found some Labellas and they wanted 110 dollars for them...it was a rather strange dream...i'm glad my nickels dont really cost 91 dollars or else i'd be playing old strings for a long time.

Shouldn't drink before going to bed..it causes weird dreams...

I had this dream once that I was trying to hang myself with an old set of strings because I couldn't afford new strings.
Unfortunately, the strings kept breaking, and since they were aggressive roundwounds, I had really bad stringwear all over my neck.

I like having weird dreams. Drinking usually makes for some good ones, but then I can't remember them...

Hmmmm......

i've been having a recurring dream, beginning in the early summer of '07....

my dream:
i am with a small group of friends on a small (35' - 40') boat puttering/sight seeing around the harbor in San Diego on a fine summer's morning....we pass by a couple of aircraft carriers and then a large ship in dry dock, and we are all marvelling at the immensity of the propeller.....
then as i am tired and the gentle rocking of the boat is soothing, i prop myself up on a cushion and sort of doze off.....
....and come to floating on my back in the water !

The sun is 12:00 high, the sky is clear & blue as could be, the ocean smooth as silk, not a ripple......off on my right is a commotion of sorts, lots of splashing, & by the look of the dorsal fins it is either a pod of dolphins or a school of sharks feeding.....there are no birds....
a yellow anti-freeze container with no lid floats by....i grab it and lift my head to look around, but there is nothing else in sight ! no boat, no land, no other debris, nothing !
a horrible realization of my plight overcomes me, and to be honest, i've never felt so terrified....
i woke my wife up crying out "Oh God, i'm out here alone ? " the 1st time i had this dream...

now, i'm not afraid of anything walking on two legs or four, but it is quite disturbing to say the least...

I had a strange dream a few weeks ago. I dreamed I was in an airport terminal full of people and I was talking to Neil Young. Even though it was taking place in the present, Neil looked liked he did in his 20s but nobody else did. We talked about a lot of things and he left the terminal and came back in to talk to me more.

There was an old guy in a wheelchair who said he was a musician and he was mad because he said he brought Neil Young there and he was talking to me and not him. There was another guy pushing the wheelchair who did not say anything. When Neil said he had to leave, I asked him if he would give me his autograph and then I stopped and said, Oh, I forgot you don't sign autographs. He got in a car and left. I have no idea what any of this means or where I got the idea that he does not sign autographs.

I had a dream once that I went to a convenience store and was taken hostage by British Native Americans (they looked like Native Americans, but talked with British accents) and while I was there they also took James Hetfield hostage so we just sat there talking about music until they let us go.

Not at all music related, but I once had a dream wherein I started a class action lawsuit against the makers of some faulty novelty footwear in the shape of Sasquatch.

I have NO idea what that dream meant.

another is that i was asked to fill in for tim commerford with RATM but i forgot to bring a strap for my bass, so i used a shoelace. weird...

I had a dream a couple of weeks ago that I was doing meth with Moe from the 3 Stooges. That was pretty weird.

I've had many dreams of talking to james hetfield about music..I guess when metallica makes up 80% of your listening matieral..it just happens. I had a dream they were in my apartment but it was metallica from 1991 with long hair, skinny, and james had a mustache....strange..

If I shared some of my dreams on here, I think I would really frighten people, and not in a funny sarcastic way.

I had a dream last night that I found a wild guinea pig in the bushes in front of my house... I grabbed him before he could escape, and brought him into the house where the whole family gathered around to try to figure out what to do with him. My son suggested that since it was not attacking us that it must somehow have once been a pet. So I carefully picked him up, turned him upside down to look for any license and sure enough there was a tiny collar on him with a metal license thing dangling.
My wife then suggested that someone was probably walking him when he must have broken the leash when chasing a caterpillar....
Sometimes I just don't want to wake up, I HAVE to see where dreams like this are going.

You finally found Lemmiewinks. Whatever you do, don't give him back to Perry and return him to his horrible life of human cavity spelunking.
