Yeah, I wish.

I'm having this problem on ALL my machines, 2 PC and a Mac, trying IE, Firefox AND Safari, and I had problems earlier today at work.

I am getting frustrated...

I'm not even going to pretend to understand that... was that a slam?

Is no one else having any problems like this? This is seriously frustrating - I really need to be able to access my emails. If anyone can assist, I would certainly appreciate it.

I had something like this happen a few hours after I insulted a certain TB'er who is famous for attacking people over the net. You didn't happen to offend anyone recently did you?

Jeez, now I can't load Yahoo Answers...

I'm going to sleep. Maybe it'll work itself out by the morning.

All works fine for me. Maybe it has something to do with your ISP?

or with a part of a regional backbone provider since you had work issues too.

agreatheight: my other post was a joke, I know interwebz issues can be REAL frustrating... I spent the better part of a decade in Internet help desk positions.

Well, it's morning, and I am stuck with the same exact issue here at home. I guess I'll look at work in an hour or so. Very frustrating.

It has happened for me once or twice. It generally just self corrects (well, it is something out of your hands).

Either ISP or more local phone exchange problem for instance.

If it is the same at work as at home, it is a user issue. Meaning, something you visited/loaded is causing the issue. Are you using IE? Or firefox? How about... what have you tried?

Turns out it's a Cox (ISP) issue. But they have no idea when it'll be fixed. Tremendous. So it's a trip to Starbucks or the Library to check my email...

Make sure you router is secure. A buddy of mine loved to hack into peoples routers and block ebay and other common sites. More people than you might think leave the settings as: ADMIN and PASSWORD
