His high range sounds pretty decent, its just whenever he's doing dives down to strings 5 and 6 he's really digging up the gunge of the bass. That and he has sloppy technique, which is a lot of what your being exposed to.

Last I checked unless you play Keytar, you can't just walk around with a keyboard easy. Double bass, Cello, both instruments designed with stands to hold them up. Drums: you sit down to play. Catch my drift?
