lol your seriously critiquing a guy who purposely made a six string sub-bass replica of his own flying V, in a 7-foot size that's rested on the floor when played because he decided he wanted to be ridiculous??

Nah, I'm just saying it sounds nasty and could sound pretty awesome. And by sub-bass you mean an octave below regular bass tuning?

or a double octave below guitar, seeing as how he's playing it

His high range sounds pretty decent, its just whenever he's doing dives down to strings 5 and 6 he's really digging up the gunge of the bass. That and he has sloppy technique, which is a lot of what your being exposed to.

grr I hate how every good thread has been made.

Instruments resting on the floor aren't ridiculous. See:double bass, cello, drums, balalaika, piano etc., etc., etc.

Yea, but those are all DESIGNED to sit on the floor. Last I checked unless you play Keytar, you can't just walk around with a keyboard easy. Double bass, Cello, both instruments designed with stands to hold them up. Drums: you sit down to play. Catch my drift?

I really like that guitar and it's obvious that a lot of time and effort went into making that thing.

Too bad he didn't put any effort into learning how to play the song.
