the score reports on the latest test date for the ACT just came online this week. so how did you all do?
Personally, I'm very happy about a composite of 33, with a perfect score on the science section. Yippee!

I realize it can be fun to talk about your scores (believe me I was there) but as soon as you get into college, no one really cares...

Not to bash anyone who got a high score, but I knew more than a few people who were 30+ dudes that fell short in college because college is much harder with much more work and they weren't getting the instant gratification. Although a few didn't go particularly far because they had the ability to literally do anything, but didn't know how to choose. |

Depends on your HS programming. I went to a school that had an international diploma program. That was hard... college on the other hand, is quite easy. If you went to a typical public school, best of luck in college. If you went to a school with legitimate programming (read: not designed in America) you'll probably be fine.
Unless you're doing premed. Then it's a bitch anywhere.

Luckily I'm a music major so most of my classes are pretty easy, and I sprinkle in some academic courses every semester to add some flavor.

Actually, I got good grades in high school without studying, and as a result, I never developed good study habits. That changed pretty quickly in college, but it still took me a couple semesters to get on the bus. Quote: |

lowsound | umm... it only goes up to 36 (when I took it about a decade ago it topped out at 34... I got a 31, but I accidentally slept through one of the science sections until the "5 minutes left alarm" went off because I forgot about the test and stayed out all night the night before... I got home about 30 minutes before my buddy showed up at my house to head to the testing site LOL).
p.s. I dropped out a year later out of boredom, lack of direction, and formal education burnout. |

I also now know i'm really bad at grammar.

My girlfriend (who was VERY competitive) studied for months and only got a 19. The second time, she got a 23. Her grades were always better than mine, but she just couldn't handle the pressure.
As I recalled, she tried to slap me after I told her my score. I don't think I dated her too long after that........

I probably would have done better than the 3.3gpa I graduated with if I had bothered to though...

No SATs not HGNUBVs ect. There really is no point in the standardized tests.
