I try to keep it balanced between jogging/biking/weights and smoking/drinking womanizing. Some methods work better on some days

Exercise is always a big one.
I also like to go somewhere away from people for a while - a hike in a nice secluded park, bike ride somewhere, etc.

I don't really have stress. At least, that's what I tell myself .
When I feel like it's too much, though rare, I just do something to disengage with reality. Play games, bass, read, write, draw, go for a walk etc. and relax.

Go for a drive/snowmobile ride
get a scrap car and do "body work" with a sledgehammer/baseball bat

or sit in a quiet room or outside place away from everything and just, well, sit. I find it rather relaxing to sit around and do that occasionally. I actually did one last year where I rode out to the middle of nowhere at night on my snowmobile and just sat there with my helmet off... very relaxing... I was sitting next to train tracks but was easily 4 hours from anything resembling a train going anywhere near there and yet still heard one in the distance... it was a very nice night

Meditation or exercise. Diving is also quite relaxing.

I let it build up and let it go at a gig, that's why I need to schedule at least one a month.

When I stopped playing for 12 years I tried racing bicycles (road racing) but it wasn't the same release.

My ability of dealing with stress gave me a wonderful 42% on my last math test, while I fully understand what was on it...
