I had a crappy night's sleep last night, I just couldn't fall asleep. It's my own fault, I had a coffee at about 8 last night, and if I drink or eat anything with caffeine in it after 6PM I usually won't be able to sleep at night. I'm such an idiot!

I had a small bowl of ice cream as my throat was dry.
Then helped my Wife get comfortable in bed, as She was not well all nite and needed sleep, and greeted my Son as he awoke, and we are watching the Fairly Oddparents as I type this. 8:35 am.
Later we will celebrate my Nephew's birthday at his house if the Wife is up to it....

| | | | I got up about 6:35 a.m. and cleaned up a hair ball that one of our cats puked up onto the hallway floor near the master bedroom.(Yech!) After that I fed the cats, got coffee brewed, and I'm letting the caffeine molecules stir up the old gray matter. Still I look forward to a good and relaxing Sunday as I have it free from any obligations, church, family, or otherwise, which is pretty rare for me, and my Sundays. It's good to be alive. |

I will email a couple of clients, delay what can be delayed, fire what clients can't deal with my situation. So today, I celebrate by giving myself time. And reminding me of its importance, actually.

I too have been feeling ill lately and have decided that I will be in bed at 10:00 no matter what until I'm healthy. It's been working so far since I came down with this head cold on Wednesday. Almost over it.

And BIG High 5 for setting your priorities and giving yourself time to get well. | Freelance graphic design. Right now, I'm doing the layout, design & pre-production for two vinyl print projects for a company participating in an Interior design convention to come soon in Québec. These guys aren't the best clients around. Everything is due for yesterday, yet they can never tell me what their goal is for a given communication. I have to guess all the time, then endure meetings with no one in charge. I won't insist if they say they can't keep me
I also have two regular contracts with magazines, one which publishes scientific research papers, and the other is an art/cultures mag. I did the layout for this one for about a year, but right now I'm off the print media, and got my first contract as information architect and project manager, for a redesign of their website from the ground up.
Those contracts are long-winded, and better suited for my schedule.
