Does it have an SD card or something in it? If so, the music is probably stored on that, in which case you can take the card out and put it into your computer (if you have a card reader) or another phone which takes the same card, and then transfer it off that way.

Have you tried shaking it yet? Tapping it on the table top. Turning it off and on repeatedly? Cursing at it?
Beyond that I'm out of ideas.

I was going with Simo, but then thought Ursus would be more better-er. And funnier-er.

Sorry I didn't mention everything.

The phone with the broken screen, my old one is a Verizon Samsung Sway (SCH-650).
The new phone is a Samsung Intensity II. Also from Verizon.

The OS is XP.
Both take a micro SD card.
Card reader is not available.
I'm on an older laptop and away. I used to get it to show up with my computer.

The Samsung Intensity I don't seem to have any problems with. I also have the data cable for both.

Prepare an offering to the gods, or go to the Verizon store.

Memory Card readers are $20 at bestbuy. They also sell little adapters.

They have a really good return policy

Thanks, I have a couple card readers plus my printer also has a card reader. The problem is they are at home. I'm not. I hope to be there soon.

The card is in my new phone and the music does not show up. The pictures do show but not the music. There is a place for music on the card.

Not a huge problem. Thanks.
