I know the iPods have a 30-pin dock, but at least 2 of those have to be the line out. If I could get a cord, could I jury rig something like this or do they sell them pre-made? I have an iPod cord that is no good, or at least I think I do, that I can get a USB end off of.

By the time you actually figure out how to do it, burn your little mitts with a soldering iron 21 times, get your hands un bandaged, and figure out where you screwed up x 19, and make it work, you would have wished you'd spend the $30.
