Here on the Gulf coast we can tell folks who aren't from around here because they melt in the summer. | Me and my two buds would split a 24 pack just to pregame with. I couldn't even tell how much more we'd each drink at the parties. |

I have a feeling people from other urban areas use this term too.
Of course it is hard to get over oursleves when we live in such an awesome place.

They are the ones standing outside shivering uncontrollably with a look on their face that screams, how does anyone live here?

If you live in a regional area its "town" or "the bush". e.g.
"Do you live in town mate?"
"No, I'm out bush a bit"
I don't think anyone is suggesting its the only city or town, just the closest one. |

I vent just to torque off "the city" dwellers.

I sure hope those girls made it home okay.

I was born in Pasadena. I can't stand Cali anymore.
If I meet a Texan out of Texas, can be just as annoying.
But if you live in a city that has tourist attractions, then obviously they will most likely be out of towners.
I don't really notice out of towners here in Austin. Unless there is a music festival going on. When the ultra hipsters are walking around.

I dont see her to much now that winter is here. I don't think the little wheels go through 10" of snow to well.
My favorite thing to do when I see them on the freeway and I am in my 4x4 is to look over and smile, then flip on the turn signal and start moving over. The look of fear on their face is priceless!
