Well, i just switched my method from side (mainly my right, sometimes my left) to flat on my back. It's interesting how my sleep feels different.

And you are quite sure you stay that way all night? Have you strapped yourself in?

Me, I can't fall asleep on my back. I'll wake myself up snoring.

Well, when I was on my side, I know I flipped/moved a bit. But the last few nights, I have been on my back, and I've been waking up the same.

Flat on my back in a lonely sprawl
I stare at the ceiling because i can not fall
Asleep tonight, no not at all

Stuck in my head from practice tonight.

Actually I almost always fall asleep on my back but I generally wake up on my side. I'm told I move around a lot in my sleep. Mumble too.

Why does this invoke images of a turtle on it's back or a beached whale?

On either side. Usually the left. I don't necessarily wake up in the same position though...

I think I fall asleep on my right side, but I usually wake up on my back.

I would shiver the whole night through.

Superman.

Left arm and leg straight and stretched out. Right arm wrapped around a pillow and my right pulled up to the side. I end up sleeping in somewhere in between my left side and stomach.

Only way I'm not sore as hell in the morning.

Though on a good bed, I'll just sleep on my back, somewhat stretched out.

My sleeping habits would best be described as a careless sprawl brought on by absolute exhaustion.

Translation: However I hit the bed when I collapse into it is how I pass out.

I don't sleep well because I have a girlfriend who feels the need to hog the damned bed... so I guess you could say that I sleep "throwing elbows, viciously defending my bedroom turf".
