Blow it out their arse.

There has got to be a way without getting canned.

I hope to God this interview I have lined up next week pans out. I've had more than enough of this tool.

Just ask if you can speak with/to him/her OFF the record. Once they agree to that, unload Most managers don't know how to react to criticism, some do and appreciate the frank feedback. Quite often it will end up bettering your situation for having the balls to speak up. If it doesn't you've probably lost nothing in trying.

As a boss (what they call a 'task order manager' - yipee) I look at it thus:

Unless he or she is making it hard for you to do your best work, it's not your boss' fault your job sucks. Sometimes a job just sucks. Sometimes a job sucks but someone's got to do it and that someone is you. Sometimes it sucks because you've been doing it too long, or maybe you want to do something else, or maybe you see no purpose in what you're doing other than to draw a paycheck.

On the other hand, if a boss makes it harder for you to do your job, then the boss is a lousy boss, or their job sucks worse than yours. Either way, at some point you have to take care of you, and common courtesy as well as your own employment future should be your guide in making that decision.

One very good boss I used to work for said that the best boss you could hope for was one that made it as easy as possible to do your job or "remove roadblocks from your path" as he put it...

Man, I miss that guy, he was a cool boss, y'know, for a boss

I'd invite him out to drinks and tell him outside of work, or to see if hes a different person outside of work.
and if hes still a dick bail on him and stick him with the tab

I'm guessing that 'here' is a misspelling of 'her'.
Mindless "C"....
Well, let's just say I think we're talking about a female boss-person.

I'd advise you not to burn bridges if you can avoid it. You may need to go back
someday if things don't work out with your new gig. I think most of us have had bosses
that were idiots, it's even more common in larger corporations to find that the inept and
clueless and even the sociopathic get into management somehow. For now I hope you get the new job and never have to go back to your old one, but you may need them as a
future reference down the road and venting on the boss you have issues with may feel good, but it can backfire down the road. I wish you the best of luck.

:O you mean Countless United Nihilistic Teas?

that'd be rather unprofesional not that u care but maybe ur boss will overreact

i'd say attack him with facts and reasons and see how he reacts

after that use the Cecret tool
