Blue collar uniform consisting of dickes carpenter jeans , solid grey button up shirts topped off with industrial work boots.

Not a fashion statement by any means but it is provided to me for $7 a week including laundering . $364 a year doesn't buy a lot of clothes especially when you are constantly destroying them.

Not liberal at all .

No tie is as good as it gets at the office no jeans, no t-shirts, unless your goal is to be sent home to change ha ha ha

Very flexible for me, but I enjoy the suit, tie, waistcoat or sweater, pocket square vibe. Definitely gets some attention.

Winter example:

I work in a liberal restaurant setting. I can wear whatever I want as long as my underarms are covered and there are no obscene graphics on my clothing.

yayy

I'm a preschool teacher, and we dress neatly and appropriately enough, but in clothes that we're not worried about being in contact with paint, glue, marker, dirt, etc. I basically stick with t-shirts (often with old-school cartoon characters on them, like Speed Racer and Gigantor - the kids really get a kick out of it!) and jeans.

I can wear pretty much whatever I want. I have to keep in mind that I'm teaching in front of students so my mickey mouse hand flicking the bird, my shirts with drunk pictures of lemmy on it, my shirt with bob and family man smoking a jay, and some of my band shirts are probably a no go.

As casual as I can act, provided my hair's cut short, I'm clean shaven, and wearing my freshly pressed uniform! You get used to it...

I once worked as a plumber. On my first day I wore my old brown Carhart carpenters overalls. It caused a minor stir on the job site. Everyone knows that plumbers are supposed to wear blue denim overalls. Some kids never grow up.

I don't wear suits myself but that is definitely doing it right.

Jeans, white tee and a pair of sneakers IS the uniform when you work in web design/programming

I used to be a lane mechanic at a bowling alley. I would routinely get my pants covered in grease from laying/sitting/crawling in the machines doing repairs. Eventually the boss figured out that I had a real knack for making myself look unpresentable, and suggested that I buy a few more pairs of camo pants.

No dress code, jeans or canvas pants and a t-shirt are pretty much the expected attire. Only thing is we have to keep our hair pulled back or under a ball cap. I usually wear canvas pants, a plain t-shirt, and a Glock cap.

Levis and a Hawaiian shirt, DC shoes when I was working. We discouraged wife-beaters (the shirts and the people).

Zero dress code. We can be as crazy as we want. Mohawks, green hair, corsets, latex, whatever.
