| | Yeah, I've got the moves like Jagger. | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: G.R. MI | | | Ten days to two weeks depending on how far I have to go to get to gigs on the weekends. During the week, I drive to work, and I drive home, and my truck waits in the driveway until I have to go to work again.
My tank holds something on the order of 27 gallons, so that fill up every other week is still a big old kick in the crotch.

Where you live - how much you drive - where you drive - how many miles....just a few of the many factors making the question irrelevant as phrased.
Next up for your consideration: 'How long is a ball of string?"
I'll watch to look for a Hummer that goes through a tank every month because it's not driven, and a prius that goes through a tank a week. Both are perfectly reasonable

If I'm doing all highway I can get 300-340 out of it. Usually that lasts me 6-7 days. During the school year, a tank can last me a few weeks because I'll go several days without driving anywhere. But during summer, I drive everyday.... depending on what errands I have I'll do 100 miles in a day. Also doesn't help that my car is far from the most economical out there, haha.

| | No Longer Works a Day Job | | Join Date: Jun 2000 Location: USA | | | The last time i drove consistently was this past summer-so May 2007-August of 2007. I did very minimal driving [50 miles week or less]. A tank would last me about 2 weeks if i remember correctly. That sucked even then-I'm so used to taking public transit here in Chicago that when i drive in Lafayette the cost is a shocker [$75/month for unlimited public transit vs. $80ish a month for gas when it was $2/gallon]. A tank = 25 gallons for me in my Impala. That car is now for sale.
When my Grandma died-i got her car. The main reason that I am keeping it is to that i have a car to drive when i go back to Lafayette for vacations/see family . The car is parked in the drive way at my Mom's house. 1992 Dodge Dynasty-i haven't seen it yet, but it has to be better on gas than the Impala.

Lately from full - 1/4 tank I've been going about a week, though I've had a lot of gigs lately. Now that I'm pretty much just commuting to rehearsal while we have a break for a few weeks it will be maybe a week 1/2 - 2 weeks.
