Our first dog was a puppy before I was. When he passed, we got another puppy, who was killed by a deer. We're on our third puppy, just turned five.

I'm a sucker for puppies. Both of the canine and sweater varieties.

Counting family dogs growing up I've owned six puppies.

Including the current two:

Too many puppies.

I have owned 1 since moving out on my own, and 6 more when I lived with my Mom. The only one I had on my own just passed away last year at 13 years old (me and the ex adopted her when she was 6 weeks old), and I haven't decided on whether or not I want to take on the responsibilities of a new pup yet.

My beagle is always chasing the deer out of our yard. Sometimes when there is a doe with her fawns, the doe will stand her ground and sometimes chase our dog around the apple tree! I'm worried that the doe is going to step on my dog's head one of these days!

I wore Hush Puppies for a couple of years. But they are definitely not cool any more.
