Just out of curiosity, how many "workers", blue or white do we have here.. as well, how many, CEOs, COOs, CTOs, CMOs, CIOs, etc.

I'm curious as to the disparity. I'm posting this due to a thread in the Lobby..

No politics please.

MODS: can you post a poll please:

Worker Bee

and

CEO, etc.

I'm a worker.

You're not gonna get any CEOs posting here, they're all posting on Golf Forums...

I was thinking about that... for now, since this is a lobby spinoff thread on UAW discussion, it's a worker bee v CEO thing...

Come to think of it, my own father was in the middle: He was a foreman at a steel castings plant, he wasn't able to vote for or against a union because he was a middle man. It was based on Federal Labor law and he was pissed. I'll leave it at that, but he ultimately got screwed because of it.. so yeah, the middle people are almost like a subculture.

Ugh middle management...They are like upper mangement but more concerned about keeping their jobs and hence its more likely they will try to manage me.

White collar worker bee here.

I'm a corporate officer and part-owner of a small contracting company. This means I'm upper management, middle management, and worker bee. I must be at the bottom of the hill, because all the **** seems to end up on my desk.

There's lots of shades of grey in there.

Not being a CEO, though, I guess I am a worker bee.

I am a blue collar slob with a blue collar job. Without getting too political, I think the CEO's making ten times what I make a year should bail their own crappy mismanaged companies out. It doesn't make sense for tax payers like me too insure these fat bastards keep their wealth while I struggle.

Hmmm...sounds like some history there.

I'm mid-management at a university, and I like to let the classified staff people who know what they're doing get on with it. The less time I spend complicating their lives, the better. I have enough problems by complicating my OWN life!!

Incidentally, I have a PhD and 28 years' experience in higher ed, but most of the academic faculty with 5+ years experience make more than I do.

I am currently both - I'm the President / Founder of my own record label, that is currently not making any money at all. I also just landed a job at Guitar Center, so I'm also working for the man.

I was previously a COO of a chain of music stores down in New Orleans that no longer exist. It wasn't my fault!
