Date?

I married her.

I hate to be cynical, but my 'dream girl' has always turned into medusa when you get too close.

I dated my dream girl, ...but then she found some new friends and got into drugs and theft.

There are few things in life as depressing as watching someone you love become self-destructive and start throwing their life away.

+1 except without the four kids.

sometimes I refer to my wife as one of my ex-girlfriends for laughs...it's true!

Yup, except she moved from an hour away to live with me, and we haven't gotten married (it's been almost 5 years) and we don't have any kids together... I've got one from my NOT dream-girl.

Every girl I date is my dream girl. There's something to love about all of them. I especially love my current one, she plays bass and is so smart, I'm so happy for her and me

I screwed her brains out. We got married and I kept doing it. Then a kid came out of her. Kid is cute, but a the whole act itself lost a lot of the romance for me at that point. I still screw her brains out though. I'm such a monkey.

I feel ya. I used to date my dream girl. Then she progressively turned into someone else.

Sometimes you gotta move on. As Gregory Charles says, when times like this happen, a man goes through it.

After six months of therapy or a dozen beers.
